My name is Brad Criss and I have taught in the public schools of Calvert County and Charles County for the past 32 years. I have served student through FCA at Calvert High and Northern High Schools. At Thomas Stone High School, I worked with the Church @ St Charles to provide meals for teams and their pastor prayed with coaches before games. I want to see coaches develop a relationship with Jesus Christ in Southern Calvert County, and their influence will spread to the athletes.
Through support of churches and gifts from dear friends, I want to ensure that each coach has a copy of God's word in their hands. I would like to see our coaches be 3-D Coaching certified by their second year in the job. I would also like to start up Bible Studies for our coaches to attend before school hours. All of these things can happen, but it is going to be by the grace of God and your donations that we see this vision accomplished. Please prayerfully consider your gift today as we spread the truth

My name is Stacy Criss, and I have taught in the Calvert County Public School System for the past 33 years. I have enjoyed serving students at Plum Point Middle School as a Huddle Coach for the past three years. Along with my husband, Brad, I've also been blessed to serve at many other FCA events such as Fields of Faith, Connect Conference, Power Camp, and kickball tournaments. I desire to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.
Through support from churches and gifts from dear friends who become partners with me in the ministry, I want to ensure that each coach in Calvert and St. Mary's Counties has a copy of God's Word in their hands. I would like to implement new Huddles in the 3 high schools and 5 middle schools in St. Mary's County. I also want to be able to pour into our female coaches by initiating a Huddle just for them!
All of these things can happen, but it is going to be by the grace of God and your donations that we see this vision accomplished. Please prayerfully consider your gift today as we continue to share the gospel with coaches and athletes.

Prospective Area Representative
My name is Owen Bevard. I grew up in St. Leonard and am a life-long Calvert County resident. I graduated from Calvert High School in 2021 and graduated from Liberty University in 2025. My involvement in FCA has varied over the years. I was active in my huddle in high school, huddle leader at power camps, volunteered with FCA while in college, and have been a summer intern.
Through these experiences I have been able to see the impact that FCA has on athletes and coaches. As an athlete growing up, my identity was based on my performance in sports. This often sent me through a roller-coaster of emotions. As I grew in my walk with Jesus, I started to learn what it looked like to hold Christ over everything, and have a healthy relationship with sports. FCA has impacted my life in a remarkable way, showing me that I can have a passion for sports, while having my identity rooted in Christ. This has given me a desire to minister to athletes and coaches, to show to them that Christ offers so much more than any sport could ever offer. It is through His grace that He has given us the passions and abilities to play/coach the sport that we love.
I am honored to be called to this ministry through FCA and look forward to seeing how the Lord uses me. I can’t wait to be a part of the ministry that FCA is doing in Southern Maryland and look forward to seeing what God continues to do in and through the lives of the athletes and coaches in our community!
